How Does It Work?

The virtual Harpoon Flannel 5k to benefit The Friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center is open to anyone- runners, walkers, or handcyclers. 
Our version of a virtual race means that by registering, you’re committing to running or walking to 3.1 miles. Whether that 5k means a course from your home, or out on trails, or staying at home and completing from a treadmill- how you do it is up to you. No matter what, just make sure that those 3.1 miles are completed only with those you are self-isolating with and according to recommended precautions. While you may be running on your own that day, remember, we are #alonetogether in this.
*Please do not come to the Windsor, VT brewery that day and run the usual race course. Harpoon does not condone group running, nor pre/post run gatherings during the COVID-19 crisis. Please follow CDC Guidelines to protect yourself and your community.
When: Saturday, September 19th or Sunday, September 20th, 2020
Start Time: Whenever you want! However you decide to complete your 5k is up to you, just practice social distancing along the way!
Now, grab your favorite flannel (we suggest L.L.Bean's!), get some exercise, raise money for a worthy cause, and celebrate after at home with a Harpoon beer!
