Weekend Entertainment:  Friday night is movie night. We have an outdoor projector and screen and show family oriented movies on Friday nights from 6:30-8pm. The pizza oven is fired up, and so is the maple cream machine, so bring the family down for an outdoor movie.

Pasture Tennis:  We have invented a great new game called "Pasture Tennis" that we play on our astro-turf field. We use Kadima racquets, foam balls, and a badminton net — AND IT IS SO MUCH FUN!!  Come down and experience the fun on Pasture Tennis.

Great River Outfitters and Path of Life Garden

Path of Life: is a crafted landscape open to the public in Windsor, Vermont. Visitors experience the story of the great circle of life while traveling through sculptures of varying sizes and materials. Inspired by a famous garden in Europe, these eighteen works of art symbolize the journey from birth to death and beyond. Since its conception in 1997, the garden has grown on its own path, providing space for recreation, relaxation, contemplation and realization; making it a great destination for families looking for fun things to do around Quechee, Woodstock, and Hanover. The path is also home to some of a 5+ mile trail network.

The garden is located in a 14-acre of field of trails, wildflowers and open spaces on the banks of the Connecticut River. It is enjoyed by people of all ages and was recently featured in Vermont Life and Pastoral Magazine.

Great River Trips: Kayaking, Canoeing, Rafting and Tubing - You have a number of options for self-guided day trips on the Connecticut River. We have trips 2hr to 8hr long. Our most popular trip begins four miles upstream at Sumner Falls and is a perfect 2 hr float trip for families looking for outdoor fun and adventure. For a longer float trip, you can do a 3 hr or a 6 -8 hr day float trip and be picked up by our shuttle. And don't worry - we have all the gear you need.

Please call 802-674-9933 or visit our Summer Schedule and Prices for more information and a complete listing of activities and costs.

Paddle and Tipi Camping: Have you ever camped overnight in a Tipi? No – well here’s your chance. Paddle 3 hr down the region’s most scenic historical waterways and camp over night in the Path of Life Garden, in Native American Tipi’s. Wake up with the sun, in the open air, to the sounds of wildlife and the crackling of an open fire.  We have two tipis by the river that can sleep between 12-16 people. We supply sleeping bags, cots, firewood, and a place for a bonfire so it makes for a care-free, special evening! Wake up in time for a morning yoga class in the garden (see yoga details below).
